A member of the Shanghai Musicians Association and a jury member for the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, he brings a wealth of experience and artistry to every aspect of his work. As the former associate principal trumpet of the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Pan Deng has performed on some of the most prestigious stages, demonstrating not only technical excellence but also a deep emotional connection to his craft. Equally committed to music education, he currently serves as a trumpet instructor at Dulwich College Shanghai and The British International School Shanghai. His teaching style is both inspiring and disciplined, grounded in the belief that music is a lifelong journey of expression and self-discovery. Pan Deng is known for his ability to connect with students of all ages and levels, fostering their growth with patience, enthusiasm, and a sincere love for the instrument. His passion lies not only in playing music at a high level, but also in passing on that passion to young musicians, helping them find their own voice through music.

Danfei Hu is a freelance musician and concert producer with a career spanning over two decades. A versatile percussionist and educator, she has served on the Executive Board of the Shanghai Percussion Association and is a founding member of the Music Odyssey Duo. Her production credits include the acclaimed 7 ½ Years Musical and collaborations on multidisciplinary projects such as Breathing Oriental Porcelain and The Forgotten Wood. Danfei has performed as a featured percussionist with composer Tan Dun on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Water Concerto, and Tea operas. From 2000 to 2015, she was a staff percussionist with the Shanghai Broadcast Orchestra and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, collaborating with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Tan Dun, Pavarotti, and Joe Hisaishi. She has also performed with the WDR Symphony Orchestra (Cologne) and the Mariinsky Ballet (St. Petersburg). As a dedicated music educator, Danfei provides private instruction and ensemble coaching across China and Europe, with a focus on creative expression, movement-based performance, and musician well-being.

Jun Lin is a classically trained French horn player with a Bachelor’s degree from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a Master’s degree from the Tromsø Conservatory of Music in Norway. As a former principal horn of the Shanghai Conservatory Orchestra, he has toured internationally across Southeast Asia and Europe, earning recognition for his musical sensitivity and technical mastery. Jun has appeared as a soloist at prestigious venues including the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, performing Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 4, and the Shanghai Concert Hall, where his interpretation of Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Horns was met with critical acclaim. He is also a prizewinner in chamber music competitions at the Shanghai Conservatory and continues to be highly regarded within the classical music community for his artistry and professionalism.

Liu Wei is a cellist and bassist, and a member of the Expert Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture's Arts Council. He joined the Shanghai Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra (now the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra) in 2001. Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous renowned conductors, soloists, and ensembles from China and abroad, performing both domestically and on tours across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Liu currently serves as principal bassist for several ensembles, including the Shanghai Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Shanghai Opera House Art Troupe Orchestra, Shanghai Chamber Orchestra, and the Shanghai Light Music Orchestra. As a guest performer, he has been invited to play with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Strings, Macau Symphony Orchestra, and the Cologne Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany. In October 2019, he was appointed a featured artist for the American brand Bose. In December 2023, he was invited to perform in the China tour of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra

Ivan Yifeng Wang studied under renowned Shanghai trombone educator and conductor Li Dali, and later with Mr. Zhu Wei, former principal trombonist of the Bremen Philharmonic in Germany and associate professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He is currently principal trombone of the Shanghai Philharmonic Association Symphony Orchestra, principal tuba and bass trombone of the Shanghai Jiukeshu Symphony Orchestra, and a guest bass trombonist with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2023, he founded Shanghai Dingfengzhuo Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., which was added to the Shanghai Youth League Committee's whitelist, and established the Young Student Symphonic Wind Orchestra, where he serves as artistic director and conductor. In 2018, he was invited by the Consulate General of Venezuela in Shanghai to perform at the 207th anniversary celebration of Venezuela's Declaration of Independence.

Bing Xu graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in flute performance. He currently serves as the Associate Principal Flute and Piccolo of the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. Beyond his orchestral role, he had been a guest lecturer of flute at NYU Shanghai and is currently the executive director of the Asian Flutists Federation. With over 30 years of experience in symphonic performance and flute education, Bing Xu has mentored numerous outstanding flute students and actively participated in music festivals and masterclasses. Passionate about flute education and the advancement of flute artistry in China, his contributions to both performance and teaching have earned him widespread respect in the field.
